Starting Internet Mail
To start Internet Mail you have two options.
From Microsoft Internet Explorer, click on the Mail button and choose Read Mail from the menu.
From the Windows 95 Start button, slide your mouse pointer up to Programs, and select Internet Mail from the programs folder.
Configuring Internet Mail
To configure Internet Mail, click on Mail in the menu bar at the top and choose Options from the drop-down menu. You will now see a window that contains a series of tabs. Click on the tab titled Server and a window similar to the following displays.

Name: Enter your name, as you would like it to appear to recipients of your mail. You may use capital letters here.
Organization: You can leave this field blank unless you have an organization name you would like to appear in your message.
Email Address: Enter your complete email address in this field (e.g. username@fbsnet.co.uk).
Outgoing Mail (SMTP): Enter your isp's mail address here - this will be provided by whoever is providing your internet dialup connection e.g.: mail.your-isp.co.uk. This may be something like mail.btinternet.com if your are using BT to connect to the internet or if you are using the FBS dial up service it will be mail.hosteurope.com
Incoming Mail (POP3): Enter the POP3 address given in your welcome email e.g.: mail.yourdomainname.co.uk
Account Name: Your username - given to you in your welcome email
Password: Your password - be sure to enter your password exactly as given (case sensitive)
When you're finished entering your settings, click the OK button at the bottom of the window, and you should be ready to go.
